Responsibilities:

The PVGC Administrator has a key role in supporting the PVGC team with a number of administrative tasks. The role does not require specific technical knowledge but affinity with technology is required.

Arrange and prepare meetings with the team to assign new projects to the team

Assign requests to team

Follow up with project leads for administrative information

Maintain the team administrative records

Update the teams documentation and procedures

Maintain team meeting agenda and minutes

Make suggestions for improvements in the process

Ensure the team documentation is complete and up to date.

Support the team in writing time

Create reports on the team performance

Required Skills and Behaviour:

A degree holder preferably preferably in Information Technology environment with at least 3 years of working experience in the IT field.

A good track record of achievement in a technology driven, multi-national environment with an emphasis on Data, Voice and Internet Services.

Good time-management and adherence to fixed reporting targets

Good team player with the ability to initiate and maintain strong relationships with other sub-process peers.

Good communications skills incorporating the ability to have effective relationships with other teams and to govern change at all times.

The disciplines of a good IT training-ground combined with the ability to function in a dynamic and informal environment

Basic understanding of networking technologies.

Basic knowledge of TCP/IP

Basic knowledge of Cisco.

Basic knowledge of the ITIL Process Approach.

Good working experience with MS-office applications.

An ability to work in a multi-dimensional work environment, and to share at all times information with peers in other teams at different locations, even when done under tight time constraints.

The ability to work with those remote teams in different cultures is important
