Business System Manager
Position with a leading healthcare and research-based pharmaceutical company. Headquartered in the UK and with operations based in the US, they are one of the industry leaders in the world\’s pharmaceutical market.

Responsibilities:
1. Reporting to IT Director.
2. Implement new applications system to support business requirements.
3. Evaluate new hardware and software proposal from vendors for implementation within the company
4. Maintain and modify existing applications system to meet business or statutory requirements.
5. Install and maintain in house developed application software and all interface and gateway implemented within the company
6. Implement agreed measures to safeguard the computer system against physical hazards and unauthorized access by providing adequate internal control based on corporate procedures to minimize disruption to the business operations
7. Work closely with other member in IT team to facilitate efficient integration of data across multiple system/Platform where necessary.
8. Deliver IT services in a quality manner and with high degree of professionalism to achieve optimal customer satisfactions.
9. Support users by providing advice, guidance and help in performing their work on the computer systems.
10. Train users in the usage of computer system and all related applications to ensure smooth and efficient day to day operations.
11. Produce adequate system and user documentation for all internally developed applications.
12. Provide sufficient guidelines and training on the other members in IT in own areas of expertise to ensure high level of job continuity at all times.

Requirements:
1. Degree or Diploma in a computer sciences;
2. Minimum of 5 years experience of working with appropriate technologies e.g. Microsoft SQL server, Lotus Notes , Centura SQL Windows, Visual Basic and ASP.net
3. Extensive programming experience using SQL server, Microsoft Visual Studio.Net, Lotus Notes and Centura
4. Sound working knowledge of Windows XP
5. Good inter-personal and communications skills.
6. Good documentation skills
7. Good project management skills
